Recording

The girls record an A Capella number
After nearly two months of preparation (and years & years of hard work!), we recorded a demo CD yesterday evening.  We had a blast!  We rehearsed from 3-5, then took a break for supper before heading to the studio. We recorded from 7-10.  It was an entirely new experience for all of us - very fun & exciting. At the same time, it was hard work - we were exhausted by the time we got home.  We had help from a producer from Nashville - introduced to us through a mutual friend - and he was such a blessing to us. He came and helped us rehearse and then took care of all the details while we recorded. He knew what to keep, what to re-do, what needed extra lift & so much more. He told us what to fix, what to sing over, where to be soft, where we weren't exactly hitting our pitches, and very encouraging on the parts we did well. So wonderful.  A good friend offered to cover the cost too! We are excited to see what the Lord is doing with this.  We should have a copy of our recording in the next few days - can't wait!  (Since I was singing most of the time, I didn't take too many pictures - my siblings grabbed a few as well, and they came out great.)

A little noisy here - but I still love the picture :)
