From years gone by.....

     When I first started blogging I used to do a "From years gone by..." post every so often. In recent history, I've not made time to dig through old images in order to do one, so I decided to knuckle down and do one now. These images were taken not too far from home and I remember the day being muggy & the air full of gnats! But it was well worth the effort and I loved the finished product.  At the time, I did not use an editing program, so these are in their raw, unedited format. :)

Babies: Emma

     When I got a message asking me to do a maternity shoot, I was so excited. What fun to work with this couple again! I shot their Barn Wedding in 2013. But the maternity shoot didn't pan out - what with extremely busy Christmas schedules, and a last minute call to work, we had to cancel...... but with a promise to do a newborn shoot once she arrived. Arriving two days after Christmas, she is absolutely adorable! Not only did I have the chance to take her pictures, I thoroughly enjoyed holding Emma and catching up with Caitlan. Little Emma was the perfect model - such a trooper! And although we tried to get her to sleep, she kept her bright little eyes open until time to leave. And what beautiful eyes they are......
