This morning my sisters and I sang at the funeral of a dear older friend. In World War II he fought to preserve our freedom and our way of life. He served in the Pacific with the Marine Corps. He was a member of the elite Marine Raiders and was awarded the Purple Heart for injuries sustained during combat missions. He and so many others have given so much - some giving all - so that we might have life and freedom. I am so proud of all those who have made a commitment to serve our country - many, many of them before I was even born. I salute them all - May God Bless You!
