Our Trip: Day Two at P4C

     Our first full day at P4C began with Community Groups at 9:00. Each group met to discuss the sermons from the night before as well as getting to know other attendees better. My group was led by John Forman. He was a great leader (very animated!) and we had some good discussions during our meetings. We all really enjoyed our community groups.
     Brunch followed and then we had free time until later when the guys & gals split up for separate sessions. Mrs. Cavanaugh led our group while Micah Cavanaugh led the guys.

     Elizabeth Fox gave a presentation on Global Encounters which was very informative. I've wanted to go on a trip for the past two years and it looks as though it might happen next year. We'll see. :)

     After the sessions, we headed to the zipline. We had a great time on that. Caroline screamed when she went off, but she wasn't the only one. :) Caroline, Laura & I all went twice - Laura & I because we liked it so much, Caroline because she wanted to go once when she wasn't so scared (her words not mine).

Lots of other activities went on that afternoon - volleyball, soccer, ultimate frisbee, hiking, games, etc.

That evening there was a 50's Diner in the dining hall. Everyone dressed up and they did a great job on the decorations.

Funny Story: Caroline planned to skip dressing up for the diner, but all the girls in our cabin were feeling sorry for her & soon had her dressed to the nines complete with a poodle skirt & red lipstick. She had on so much lipstick that it left an imprint on her burger. We had to have a picture.

Services that night were really great once again. Wonderful singing and inspired preaching.

It's taken a little longer to post - I was waiting for Leah to post more pictures for us to download. I had some of my own, but not of everything. So my next post may be a little longer in coming as she has not yet posted pictures beyond the 2nd day.  In the meantime, we've been to Arkansas to see family & will be performing at the downtown coffee shop Five 80 this Friday night. All of that will be coming in due time.
